嗨，大家好！
想念你们可爱的人参吗？
哈哈哈
北京实在是太精彩了！
有好多趣事想告诉你们（尽管我在北京只生活了短短的两天）
但用电脑的时间有限
那就长话短说吧！

我们是在昨天下午三点抵达北京国际机场的
下机后入境花了好长的时间啊！
搞到四点多才上旅行巴士前往八中
到那里已经是五点了
我们将行李搬上了五楼的宿舍
看房门一看
哇！
完全超出了我们的想象
又宽敞又整洁
厕所里有全新的
沐浴乳，洗发精，牙膏，牙刷，牙杯和毛巾！！！
这和酒店有什么差别嘛？
房间更惊人
有矿泉水，水果，热水，茶，洗衣机和电视机！！！
哇塞
这是我们第一次感受到北京人的殷勤招待
卓老师说她们还要为我们家被子呢！
不行不行，真的受用不起！

这里的天气很凉
特别是早晨的时候
昨晚想洗澡
没有人调得出热水来
去问老师
她叫我们等。。。
等了半天
水有点温了
就冲起澡来
但全身还是冰嗖嗖的！
后来cheryl九点去冲
水竟然热到她差一点烫到
气得我吹胡子瞪眼

今天随班上课
他们一天上八节课
一节35-40分钟
每堂课间中都有十分钟的休息
上完五堂课后又有午餐时间
一个半小时！！！
这还不包括一天两次的眼保健操
和每日一次的课间操
怪不得他们上课特别有精神
他们上课不吵闹
回答问题时却很踊跃
哪像我们
平时嘴总是关不上
老师问问题时就闭得紧紧的
惭愧惭愧

说说他们的课程吧
今天学的是朱自清的荷塘月色（啊？什么猪？）
他们的语文课（我们俗称华文课）
简直有华文文学科的水准
甚至比那更深入

语文课后是体育课
试想想
你迎着清爽的风晨跑
是不是很诗意？
很浪漫？
才怪
我懂得脸和手都僵掉
但总的来说
还是很有趣
至少没有什么assessment
让人运动都不舒服

数学课
你知道range叫做值域，
assymptote叫做对称轴，
和domain叫做度量吗？

最后是物理课
那老师画的图表
我的天
羡慕死人了
那圆形园到不行
那直线分明是用尺画出来的嘛！

好了
说说这里的吃
昨天的晚餐，
今天的早餐和午餐
只有一句话形容
好到吮手指！
（我回去一定会发胖）

对了，我在北京买了酸角
有谁知道那是什么吗？

First things first, i cannot be classified as a FAN of goong, because:
1. I don't exactly chase after the shows
2. I don't swoon over Yul or Shin
3. I simply watch it and like it.
4. That's about it!

SECONDLY, I DID NOT AWWWWWW! HUMPH HUMPH HUMPH X10 (to the power of 23)

and i know chun hing's going to complain about how i'm a camel with all the humps.

Blossoming

Plenty of issues to blog about. Don't fall asleep...

Dance Performance---Blossoming (27/05/06)
The performance was a great success! My mum bought the dvd, so if you are interested, you can borrow it from me. I'm certainly looking forward to viewing it!

Anyway, i had a wonderful time. We had our first performance at 4pm. Strangely enough, i wasn't feeling the nerve. It feels like any other rehearsal. Weird. Normally, my stomach will start doing somersaults. Nevertheless, we did a fantastic job.

After that, we had lunch, chicken sandwich from burger king. Everyone started exclaming when we realised that the burgers were halved ( the parent volunteers made sure we were NOT going to dirty our costumes). Talking about our costumes, it's awesome. Seriously, it's the best we've had so far. But the headdress is honestly a torture. Urgh. Qihui's earrings are really beautiful too! So, we were sitting in a circle, exchanging lame jokes. After a while, it proceeded to rather dirty jokes. hahaha.

Then ,we had our second performance. Most felt that it wasn't as good as the first one, but I think I did better in the second one. We had a finale, and i presented with a bouquet of flower. Then, there was a cheering contest between Zou laoshi's student(US) and Cai laoshi's student. Actually, we started it. After the ballet people had cheered their fill, someone (i don't know who, it's too dark backstage) remarked that we were louder. hahaha. That night, we took a lot of pictures.

Irene's big day
Irene's left last friday. we held a party for her. on the party, we presented her with a card (a very CUTE one), an 8R photo of her ( my contribution:)) and an autograph book (we couldn't manage to get everyone to write in it, primarily because jiaying had it for 1 WHOLE DAY). hahaha. i brought Pringles for the party. In the morning, jiaying asked me whether i could help her to sneak the food out during Cosmo. but i always sit next to irene so it will seem suspicious if i suddenly moved. so i asked her to go find karene. karene asked her to go find yee lin. yee lin put a stop to the whole notion when she pointed out that NO ONE SITS NEXT TO THE DOOR DURING COSMO (the lesson's just too interesting!). In the end, it turned out that we were out on the track, flying water rockets, when jiaying sneaked in. hahaha.

Belgarath the Sorceror
I just finished the book. It's way cool. I'm thinking of rereading the whole series but that's sure going to distract me from my studies. so...i postponed the plan to december. :( i will reread Belgarath the Sorceror again though. NO DOUBT! (I still got Polgara the Sorceress to go)

Sabbaticals

It's the last week of school. Can you believe that I was almost late for school on the first day of the last week? Being the sotong i am (fine, Karene), i forgot to set my alarm the night before, by the time my mum woke me up, it was 6. I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE UP AT 5.30 AND OUT OF THE HOUSE BY 6. To make it worse, i had not iron my uniform or pack my bag!!! It's a miracle I arrived in school at 7, earlier than usual. WOW...

COSMOLOGY
Cosmology is awesome!!! We learnt about the Solar System today. i like the name of our Sun---"Sol", sounds philosophical. We went down to the track to plot the positions of the planets. Irene, Rachel and me were in charge of placing Venus, the goddess of love and beauty!!! hahaha!!!The Sun was a bottlecap with a diameter of 25MM!!! Even then, Pluto was 106m from the Sun. Maychew, Xinyi and Christabella could be seen walking desolately down the track...

We also watched video about the various mission launched to capture images of the planets. I love the craters of Mercury, the rain of Venus (it's sulphuric acid!!!), Olympus Mons of Mars (the greatest volcano of the solar system), the Red Spot of Jupiter (a storm that had been brewing for 300 years), the rings of Saturn, the plainness of Uranus (awwww), the Dark Spot of Neptune. I wish that the NASA mission to Pluto will be successful. Hopefully, it will happen in my lifetime...

WEIQI
One word to summarize it---BORING *yawn*. Perhaps because we were learning 六路棋 with reversi board, which is rather restricting. In the end, Karene, Yongji and I started playing reversi.

On the bus home today, i met Christabella. it turned out that she takes the same bus as me. hahaha. took me half a year to find out. we talked a bit and then i fell asleep, so i didn't know when she got off. I LOVE MY BLOGSKIN!!!
